There's beauty beneath the surface. You just can't see it yet.

At first glance, these might not look like much.

But hidden beneath the surface of these freshly cast blocks is something rather special.

These photographs were taken at our Leeds workshop, where our bespoke precast terrazzo creations begin their journey.

Long before the finished product reveals its colour, character and carefully selected aggregates, there's a process involving traditional craftsmanship, specialist knowledge and a great deal of skill.

What starts as a seemingly ordinary cast block will be transformed through cutting, grinding and polishing to reveal the beautiful terrazzo within.

And that's part of what makes bespoke terrazzo so fascinating. The beauty isn't simply applied to the surface. It's there within the material, just waiting to be revealed.

From the workshop floor to the finished piece, there's a story behind every creation.
